After the resounding success of last year’s Post Graduate Course entitled “Healthcare Management: A Practical Approach”, the Master in Hospital Administration program at the Graduate School of St. Jude College and St. Jude Hospital & Medical Center will now offer the Second Post Graduate Course with the theme: “Defining the Issues in Healthcare Institutions”. This course will be held on October 23-24, 2009 at the Shangri-La EDSA Hotel Garden Wing.
Expected participants are hospital owners, hospital directors, department heads of healthcare institutions, students taking up Master in Hospital Administration and Master of Arts in Nursing, nurse managers, and people with special interest in managing healthcare institutions.
The relevant topics that will be discussed in response to the different issues in healthcare are:
Invited faculty include leaders in the healthcare industry such as Ms. Christine Liwanag of Novartis Philippines, Atty. Antonio Rebosa, a known medico-legal practitioner, Mr. Lino Lacanlale, VP Finance of St. Luke’s Medical Center, Ms. Marivic Lualhati, Dr. Raul Ramos, and Dr. Jose Pepito M. Amores of St. Jude Hospital and College, Ms. Mercy Antoinnete Gapi of Medical Equipment Healthcare Group, and Mr. Anthony Calibo of the Department of Health.
